These terms are an agreement between you and EMERGENCY AI SHUTDOWN LLC ("we"), which runs this site, D.A.V.I.D for the 2388, at combinerepair.com. By ticking the box at sign-up you agree to them.

Who can join

You must be 18 or older and live in the United States.

What this site is

A forum and notes by and for owners of the Case IH 2388, and D.A.V.I.D, an AI that answers from those notes. We are not a dealer or a repair shop. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Case IH or CNH Industrial. "Case IH" and "2388" are used only to say which machine this site is about.

AI answers can be wrong

D.A.V.I.D is an AI, not a mechanic. Its answers can be wrong, out of date or not right for your machine. Check every figure and step against your operator's or service manual or your dealer before you rely on it.

Forum posts are other owners' opinions

Posts are written by members, not by us. We don't check them and don't stand behind them.

Safety

Don't work under a raised header, on or inside the rotor, on hydraulics, on drivelines or augers, or on anything that needs lockout, because of something on this site. Shut down, take the key, block the header, and follow the manual or call a dealer. D.A.V.I.D won't walk you through that work.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY

You use the site's answers and posts at your own risk. You release EMERGENCY AI SHUTDOWN LLC and its members from claims for repair costs, parts, downtime, crop loss and damage to your machine that come from acting on an answer or a post. This release does not cover our gross negligence or intentional wrongdoing, or anything the law does not allow to be released.

LIMIT OF LIABILITY

If we are found liable to you for anything, your only remedy is a refund of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 if you paid nothing. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

NO WARRANTY

THE SITE, ITS ANSWERS AND ITS POSTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF ACCURACY OR FITNESS FOR A PURPOSE.

Your posts

You are responsible for what you post. Post only what you have the right to share: no pages, drawings or text copied from a Case IH manual, and nothing illegal, abusive or someone else's private information. You let us show, store and move your posts on the site, and use what they say in the site's notes. We may remove any post or account.

Copyright complaints

If you believe something on the site infringes your copyright, write to our copyright agent at [address, once registered]. We remove infringing material promptly.

Paying and cancelling

Monthly plans renew each month until you cancel; cancel any time with one button on your Account page, and you keep access to the end of the month paid for. One-time plans never renew. Refunds as shown on the Pricing page.

Privacy

We keep your email, your plan, your forum posts, and your questions and D.A.V.I.D's answers (for 3 years, so we can fix wrong answers). Questions are sent to Anthropic's API to write answers. We don't sell your information. Ask us and we'll delete your account and posts.

Changes

If we change these terms we'll ask you to agree again before you go on using the site.

Law and courts

Wisconsin law applies. Disputes go to the state courts of Wisconsin; either side may use small claims court.
